The building blocks of bones were previously thought to require calcium to make strong osteoblasts, however recent findings suggest that vitamins D and K2 are what the body uses to construct the skeletal framework.
The addition of strontium carbonate, along with D and K2, gives the body the materials to rebuild strong, dense bone structures. This stable form of strontium accumulates in the bone, creating a scaffold of sorts for the body to lay down the new osteoblasts where active remodeling must take place.
Researchers have found that strontium improves cartilage metabolism in osteoarthritis by stimulating proteoglycan (structural components of cartilage such as glucosamine and chondroitin).
Vitamin A plays an essential role in the development of osteoblasts, the bone-building cells that lay down new bone. A deficiency in vitamin A also limits calcium absorption and metabolism, which can result in poor bone growth. Overall, low vitamin A levels are associated with osteoporosis and increased risk of fracture.
Glucosamine and chondroitin are structural components of cartilage, and when used along with strontium, help to rebuild the depleted joint’s cartilage structures. Chondroitin is a major component of cartilage that helps it retain water, and therefore increases its lubricating qualities.
Directions for use:
Take 2 capsules once per day or as directed by your healthcare provider. This product contains vitamin K2 mk7. Consult with your physician if you are taking Coumadin or Warfarin to adjust your dose.
